u were eight n i was nine
u my neighbor n u live juz next door
i used to knock n ya mom said 'watchu ask for'?
N i ask her 'is she at home'?
She said 'shes upstairs cme on in' didnt stand long.
When i see ya i said i brought sum play doh.
She gav me an amazin smile n tell me 'watcha wait for?'
she made flowers n i made a baseball.
We also play cook i lyk to do the choppin.
We pray evryday,'friends foreva' we were hopin.
We had fun we han non stop laughin.
We juz laugh eventho theres nothin.
Things get better when she got a new hobby.
She loves to play tha piano an this is OUR melody.

Then comes high skool tha tym i start to realize
i wanted to be mo than frens i wanna hav a real life.
But u r wit this guy whose love is smaller than pea size.
But u still wit him n i cnt help but rely try

when u said hes the best othas r less
evryday im in pain n u asked me wats wrong
i said nuthn but the fact the problemr infront
i guess i'll juz smile til its gone
but seems ma problem neva be done

one night u called me n told me that ur dumpd
time passes n we still talkn thru the phone
tot its an opportunity to tell ya wat i want.
But i hold ma lips cuz i noe dat u won't
